Fiber The Staff of Life | HealthmadAmericans don’t eat nearly enough fiber. Fast food takeout and processed food do not fill the bill. We need whole grain, fruit, seeds, nuts and vegetables to provide enough fiber for a healthy life. Fiber aids digestion and is the least complicated food to prepare. An apple, a hand full of nuts, sunflower seeds, beans, all these provide fiber and lessens the risk of hypertension, cancer, heart-disease and many other diseases.
