In general, we hold our doctors in awe. We look up to them and trust them with our families health. Even so, physicians do make mistakes. In serious health issues, a second and third opinion is appropriate. Mistakes can be found in the doctors office just as surely as in the general population.The medical profession has come a long way in the last fifty years and we can be thankful.
