How to Choose Your Interior Paint | Gomestic

How to Choose Your Interior Paint | Gomestic

Don’t choose your interior paint by brand name alone. Manufactures often change formulas to cut cost so don’t assume that paint you loved last time will give the same results when you paint again. Choose the right gloss levels. Flat paint hides marks and scratches better than gloss but isn’t as good at resisting stains. Semi gloss paints have a high gloss sheen and are easy to clean but tend to dull with cleaning. It’s best to use them sparingly. Low luster paints have the best points of all paints, and are ideal for most rooms.

Rape in the military is a sad but true fact but that’s not the end if it. It’s also how the military handles the situation. Often the victims are discouraged from reporting rape and when they do report it little is done. A class action was filed Tuesday by a group of U.S. veterans who say they were raped and abused by their comrades then forced to live and work along side of them. They want to force the Pentagon to change how such cases are handled. Named in the federal class-action lawsuit were Defense Secretary Robert Gates and his predecessor, Donald Rumsfield.

We do have politicians who are honest to the extent possible but most of it is self interest all the way.

Our government is promoting obesity by supporting dairy farmers to the tune of $140 million annually. The U.S. Department of Agriculture while urging Americans to consume less fat has turned it’s back on it’s own recommendations and is funding Dairy Management to get a surplus of milk fat back in circulation. They’ve teemed up with fast food places marketing high fat cheese. This is a disservice to our populations health and well being.
