The Rich and Poor in America | Socyberty

The Rich and Poor in America | Socyberty

The rich one percent of Americans and the average wage earner in America slips wider and wider apart. As the average wage earner gets poorer, the rich get richer. Their kids go to the finest schools, get the top earning jobs and high tax breaks. Average kids go to poorer schools, cannot afford the best colleges and in many cases no college. Charles Murray says the Boards of Directors of Corporate America, Nonprofits and Foundation America have become cozy extended families, scratching each others backs and taking advantage of their privileged positions.

This bread is delicious and quick. You can make it for dinner without any rising or punching down or any of that time consuming stuff. Just mix it all up and put it in a cake pan and give it 30 to 35 minutes to cook. You can make the rest of your dinner while it’s in the oven. This bread is great with vegetables summer or winter. If you have never made bread this is a good one to try first.

New Breakthroughs for Lactose Intolerance | Healthmad

Due to new research, those who are lactose intolerant are eating more dairy than before. Eating dairy products with other foods sometimes does not bring on symptoms. Especially yogurt which produces enzymes that digest lactose. Packets of a product (LactAid) that breaks down lactose in dairy is also on the market. The same manufacture also markets products that are ready to use. More options are available for lactose intolerance, so don’t be discouraged.

Romney and The GOP | Socyberty

Romney and The GOP | Socyberty

The GOP wins elections by playing to the wealthy who will benefit from tax cuts and special privileges. They heap taxes on the average citizen and take away programs that would lift up the poor. I can see not one reason to vote for a Republican unless you are a rich person. I have my doubts that one could win without supporters who willingly pump out millions of dollars, knowing it will bring them even more wealth and privileges. But now, even with their record, Republicans seem to have slipped a few more notches into fantasy and delusions.

Muslim Attacks Against Christians | Socyberty

Muslim Attacks Against Christians | Socyberty

Christophobia is running high in Muslim countries. Draconian blasphemy laws cause Christians to live in perpetual fear, and with good reason. Anything that contradicts the Muslim theological doctrine is considered blasphemy and gives intolerant Muslims the right to bully and kill the religious minorities. In Saudi Arabia churches and private prayer are banned. Religious police regularly raid the homes of Christians and bring them up on charges of blasphemy in a court where their testimony carries no weight.

Fibrocystic Breast Disease | Healthmad

Fibrocystic Breast Disease is experienced by as many as 80% of women. The symptoms are painful lumps in the breasts before the monthly menstrual cycle. Some doctors say it isn’t really a disease since it’s common to so many women. Other doctors disagree and say women who have this condition should have tests to rule out cancer. Hormonal changes and an imbalance of estrogen over progesterone is thought to be the cause of fibrocystic breast disease.

Do you know that vegetable farmers, cattle farmers, chicken farmers and food companies poison our food with preservatives and chemicals that can cause disease and death. Our only recourse seems to be reading labels, and everything isn’t labeled.

Governor Sonny Purdue of Georgia went out of office in 2011, but before he did he shoveled money intended for other purposes into his pet projects adjacent to his own property. A much needed reservoir the money was intended for never came into being, while woods adjoining Purdue’s property was bought by Georgia at an inflated price without lawmakers knowledge. Governor Purdue was chairman of State Properties Commission.

Why The Unsinkable Titanic Sank | Socyberty

While the ship designers and major men of the day spread the rumor that the Titanic was unsinkable, one of the passengers didn’t believe a word of it. And that saved her family’s lives. Eva Harts mother had a premonition of disaster. Her fear kept her awake at night. She heard the faint sounds of a collision and got her family to the deck quickly. The Titanic designers had left three things out of the equation that might have made the Titanic truly unsinkable.

Herbs for Breast Enlargement | Quazen

Herbs for Breast Enlargement | Quazen

Did you know that some herbs will enlarge breasts? Herbalists say they will. If anyone wants larger breasts, herbs would be a better, safer option than surgery.
Some women dream of larger breasts, and many go for silicone, which is dangerous. If herbs really enlarge breasts, it would be the safer way to go. It certainly wouldn’t hurt anything to try.

Komen Breast Cancer Funding for Planned Parenthood | Healthmad

Last week the Susan G. Komen for cure of breast cancer charity announced it’s plans to stop funding to Planned Parenthood, then changed their minds after the public fury. Many long time supporters felt the decision was politically motivated. Komen, the country’s most widely known breast cancer organization were stunned at the public response. Planned Parenthood provides birth control contraceptives, necessary abortions, mammograms and cancer treatment to women who cannot afford to pay. It saves lives that would be lost without the services.

Bill Traylor drew for the love of art. He was born into slavery and after he was too old to work in the plantation, he relocated to Montgomery Alabama, where he drew 1,200 known pieces of art. He drew from memories of plantation life and probably from his own experiences. His drawings of males and females were animated with flashing fingers and animated body language. Charles Shannon recalled that once Traylor observed of such scenes, "She’s not asking him, she’s telling him."

A Story of The Ragged Panties | Healthmad

Ladies don’t ever put on a pair of ragged panties just to wear with your old jeans. You know what your mama always told you. Put on your clean underwear, you might have an accident. Well, my panties were clean but they were ragged. And I came to seriously regret I didn’t throw them in the trash can. I did learn a good lesson. I will never keep any panties that are not in perfect condition again.

D.W. Hawkins and The Sentient Fire

The Sentient Fire is a book written by D.W. Hawkins. It's a fantasy about two wizards, Dormael and his cousin D'Jenn. They rescue a child named Bethany and a warrior woman, Shawna, and take them along as companions for further adventure. Dormael's and D'Jenn's magic protect them from their enemies who are after Shawna's sacred armlet. Here is excerpt from the story.

Bring him forth," Roburn spat at Dormael's captor, and Dormael received a nudge with the tip of the blade to urge him forward. Dormael stared Roburn in the eye and stepped into the space the guards had cleared in front of their leader. When he was within eight hands of Roburn, Dormael's captor kicked him in the back of the legs, sending him painfully to his knees. Dormael swallowed his white hot rage as the guards closed around him. With a surge of power, he filled himself with magic. The hair on his arms rose as the power of magic filled his body, his senses and his mind. He could feel the thumbing of his heart as he gathered power and energy for one deadly attack. Roburn's face was filled with anger as he took a step forward as if to kick Dormael. Dormael's magic was so charged he felt himself crackling with energy and screaming with pure elation. Somewhere above he felt another song in the void, another gathering of power, D'Jenn was ready.
It came as a tiny light and reflected off Roburn's boot which was rushing to meet Dormael's face. Within the light Dormael could see the roiling waves of power pressed so tightly it fit into the mote shining between the wizard and the aggressor. Something that appeared to be a strange mating of lighting and liquid fire slammed with a crackling noise into Roburn's chest. Dormael watched with grim satisfaction. Two more arcs of power and the other syndicate leaders were down with Roburn, dead the instant they touched the power. Suddenly the air seemed to thicken around Dormael, and he could feel the weaving of magic overhead. It was a sheild and he could feel D'Jenn's song and the melding of D'Jenn's mind in the magic. Dormael smiled and felt relief wash over him.

Saving and Investing | Gomestic

Saving and Investing | Gomestic

Saving and investing is an important issue with every family. It’s the best idea to start saving with your first pay check. If you didn’t do that, you can’t begin any earlier than your next pay check. You might think you don’t have any money left over to save. The remedy to that is to write a check for savings first, and budget the remainder of your money to pay bills. You might have to skip movies, or dinner out but savings is more important.

Dressing Kids on a Budget | Quazen

Dressing Kids on a Budget | Quazen

Dressing kids on a budget can be done. Before you go to the store, make a deal with your child that you wont buy anything that you both don’t agree on. That takes care of a lot of whining. Know what your child needs and stick to it. Take out all of your child’s clothes and see exactly what he or she needs. If any repairs need to be done, take care of it. Your daughter or son might have a good shirt or blouse that is still in good shape but they are tired of wearing it. See if you can dye it a different color to make it look new. You might find several you can redo.

Recipe for The Perfect Doughnuts | Gomestic

These doughnuts will turn out perfectly. They are delicious. If you are making doughnuts to take to a block party or a large get together you might want to go ahead and fry in oil. For my family I roll out the doughnuts and put them on a cookie sheet, spray with butter and bake. It usually takes about 15 minutes in a 400 degree oven. They are done when lightly brown. Baking saves oodles of calories.

What is a Healthy Weight? | Healthmad

What is a Healthy Weight? | Healthmad

Most of us do not know what a healthy weight is anymore. We have steadily grown more obese during the last twenty years. Look at a class of school children in the seventy’s and look at a class of today. It can be shocking. And it isn’t only children. The adults are even more obese. I believe it’s all the junk food on grocery shelves and fast food restaurants. Whatever the reason it’s time for parents to choose healthy food over junk.

Spielberg’s War Horse Receives Two Thumbs Up | Socyberty

Should animals work in movie making? With computer animation and all the technology, is it even necessary? Not every producer is as careful of animals as Steven Spielberg. In his movie "War Horse" fourteen horses were employed to play "Joey" from the time he was a colt on an English farm till he was on the battlefields of World Wat 1. Computer graphics were used in the scenes that were dangerous for the horse, and it’s impossible to tell any difference from the real thing.
