Tornado Hits Hard in Southern United States | NewsflavorTornadoes were prowling the southern parts of the United States last week. Georgia was hit hard as were several other southern states. One spot with some of the worst damages in Georgia was Ringgold, a small town north of Atlanta. Wooded areas were completely swept away, along with houses and businesses. Families were killed when homes were blown away like match sticks. President Obama made an appearance in Tuscaloosa Alabama where the tornado damage was even worse, to access the damage there.
