Classic Navy Blue is Back | Gomestic

We ladies do enjoy decorating and making changes in the house. Especially before the holidays when family and friends will be dropping in. There is good news for anyone who plans to redo the house before Christmas. Navy blue is back. It was popular several years ago, but it quietly died away. Now glossy navy blue is going strong again. Hungry Children in America | Socyberty

Hungry Children in America | Socyberty

We have children in America who go to bed every night hungry. The shame is that we grow plenty of food for our citizens and ship food to other countries. So why must our children suffer hunger? There are programs in place. But there is a stigma in accepting free food. Besides that problem, many people who qualify never know food is available. Georgia is hoping to change that.

Although Ian Fleming had seen no personal action, he was a key aide to Britain’s head of naval intelligence, and he had a great imagination and a golden typewriter. We are all the richer for Ian Fleming.

How to Make Southern Biscuits | Notecook

How to Make Southern Biscuits | Notecook

If you have ever eaten good Southern biscuits you know what I’m talking about. They are melt in your mouth good. Put that sweet butter in there with some blackberry jam, pour yourself a hot cup of coffee and sit back and eat. I used to make them every morning for breakfast and sometimes for dinner and supper. I don’t do that anymore but I do make Southern style biscuits often. They still taste just as delicious. Try my recipe for Southern biscuits and see if you agree with me.
